Count with Kids is a children's math practice app. We are committed to protecting the privacy of our users, especially children.
We do not collect any personal data.
Count with Kids:
The App offers an optional one-time Full Unlock purchase and an optional Guided Learning auto-renewing subscription. All payments are handled by the Apple App Store. We do not see, store, or process any payment information, credit card details, or billing addresses. The App receives only a confirmation from Apple's StoreKit framework that a purchase was made.
Subscription status (active, expired, in trial) is verified through Apple's StoreKit on demand and is not persisted to any server we operate. See our Terms of Service for details about the subscription products.
The App includes an optional scan feature that uses the device camera to scan printed practice pages. The camera is used solely for on-device document scanning via Apple's VisionKit framework. No images or camera data are collected, stored, or transmitted. Scanned images are processed entirely on-device to read answers from printed worksheets, and are discarded immediately after processing.
Subscribers to Guided Learning may opt in to a weekly local notification that surfaces a parent-facing report. Notifications are scheduled and delivered entirely on your device using Apple's UserNotifications framework — they are never sent through any external server.
All app data (settings, practice session history, and skill progress for the Guided Learning feature) is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. This data never leaves your device.
This app is designed for children ages 4 and up. We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar regulations worldwide by simply not collecting any data. In-app purchases require adult authentication via Face ID, Touch ID, or Apple ID password as enforced by iOS — children cannot make purchases without an adult present.
Count with Kids does not integrate with any third-party services beyond Apple's own platform frameworks (StoreKit for purchases, UserNotifications for the optional weekly report, VisionKit for the optional camera scan). There are no ads, no third-party analytics, and no external network requests outside of Apple's own purchase verification.
The App's core practice functionality works fully offline. An internet connection is used only by Apple's StoreKit framework when verifying purchases or restoring previous transactions.
If we make changes to this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Since we collect no personal data, material changes would typically only reflect updates to clarify how Apple's platform frameworks operate within the App.
